Der Animated Com Award International zeichnet exzellente Beitrage angewandter Animation in internationaler Werbung aus. Der Preis in Höhe von 2.500 € wird gestiftet vom Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart. Der Animated Com Award International wird am Freitag, 27. April um 18 Uhr im Rahmen der Gala „Trickstar Professional Awards“ in der Rotunde der L-Bank verliehen. Die nationalen Beitrage für animierten Werbefilm werden im Rahmen der Preisverleihung von spotlight – Festival fur Bewegtbildkommunikation am Freitag, 27. April um 20 Uhr im Hospitalhof vorgestellt und ausgezeichnet (Infos und Tickets www.spotlight-festival.de). Beide Veranstaltungsorte, L-Bank und Hospitalhof, sind fußläufig voneinander entfernt. Für den Animated Com Award International sind dieses Jahr zwölf herausragende animierte Werbefilme nominiert.Ergänzt wird das Programm durch die amerikanische „Imaginary Friend Society“-Kampagne der The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.„A cancer diagnosis is scary for anyone, but for children it’s even scarier and more confusing. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (www.curethekids.org), the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to children and teens with brain tumors, and RPA Advertising (www.rpa.com) created the Imaginary Friend Society to teach kids about cancer treatment in ways that are easy to understand. These animated films are available for free at www.ImaginaryFriendSociety.com. This pro bono, global film project came to life thanks to talented animation, music and sound-design partners from around the world (www.imaginaryfriendsociety.com/partners).“
