The guest at this Animation Lounge is Max Pfisterer from Frischvergiftung, who are already successfully using imaging AI in their workflows: In projection mappings to completely transform existing buildings, to create visuals for music festivals or in collaboration with Andreas Hykade to generate morphings between given artworks.

About the speaker: The communication designer radicalised himself as a VJ with his friend and partner Willy Löbl in the Stuttgart club scene and shortly afterwards switched from print to film. That was a while ago and Frischvergiftung has since become a flourishing animation studio.

Together with us, the Film- und Medienfestival gGmbH, and the Animation Media Creators Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), the MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg is organising the Pre Fixe with Animation Lounge as a pre-programme to the monthly network meeting of the film industry (Jour Fixe) from 7:00 pm.

 

 

Of Pixels and Passes – Football in Animation

On the occasion of the European Football Championship, the ITFS presents an international selection of animated films that combine the fascination of football with the art of animated short film. The visual diversity of the films is just as impressive as their thematic range. They present humorous and comical, serious and thought-provoking stories about football. They tell how football connects and inspires people, overcomes social and cultural barriers, but also tackle controversial topics and deal with social and political grievances and crises.

ITFS Animation Special

The ITFS Animation Special brings a piece from the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film to cinemas throughout the year: In addition to the ITFS Animation Tour, which is presented worldwide, the ITFS also offers a selected animation programme for fans from Stuttgart and the region.

ITFS Animation Tour

Since 2006, the ITFS has been touring the world with a selection of the best animated films from the preceding festival. From October, the programmes “Best of ITFS”, “Best of Tricks for Kids” and “Trickstar Nature Award” will present award-winning films, festival highlights and audience favourites of the previous festival.
