We also show films outside the competitions. Premieres, extraordinary feature-length films, series specials or even the whole animated world of individual artists or entire countries. Enjoy animation as a live open-air experience and be part of Stuttgart’s largest public viewing on Schlossplatz! In addition to the festival programme in the cinemas, we offer you thrilling, inspiring films every day. Free of charge and in the fresh air. All you need is a picnic blanket.

Virtual worlds. Real emotions. The GameZone is for gaming enthusiasts and animation fans of all ages. Here animation and games merge. Immerse yourself in the worlds of the nominees for the Animated Games Award Germany. Game your way through the different genres and platforms, from adventure to action. Game over? Restart!
