Valerie Scheinpflug has been Head of Fundraising and Sponsoring at Film- und Medienfestival gGmbH since April 2019, responsible for sponsorship management.

She studied Theatre Studies and Romance Studies at the University of Leipzig. After working as an assistant director and evening stage manager at Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart, she joined the ARTE Magazine in Strasbourg in the Marketing and Sponsoring Department. She later organised the inaugural edition of the COLOURS – International Dance Festival 2015 with Eric Gauthier at Theaterhaus Stuttgart. From 2015 to 2019, she worked at the Berlin-based agency Causales – Society for Cultural Marketing and Sponsorship, advising European cultural institutions and managing the CultureInvest! Congress and sponsorship activities.
