From 1995 to 1998, Silke Kabisch completed postgraduate studies in cultural management at Ludwigsburg University of Education. She worked as an assistant to Joachim Schlömer at Theater Basel from 1998 to 1999 and at the Tanz- und Theaterwerkstatt in Ludwigsburg from 1999 to 2006. Since October 2006, she has been working at Film- und Medienfestival gGmbH as Assistant to the Managing Directors.

In addition to her administrative role, she serves as the main contact for shareholders, accounting, and tax matters.
