We are not yet able to offer a festival without barriers and not all venues are stair-free and wheelchair accessible. To help you plan a carefree festival visit, a detailed overview of all locations and their accessibility will be available here from spring.

To ensure a pleasant festival experience for all visitors, photosensitive content will be labelled accordingly. This will allow them to obtain specific information and enjoy films and programmes without any worries.

Content Notes

Sensitive content

We do not publish content notes in the competition programmes, as many films deal with sensitive content. The content notes provide information on possible sensitive topics. This allows you to choose your programme carefully.

For the blind and deaf

Sign Language and Audio Description

We offer selected programmes in German Sign Language (DGS) and with audio description to create a diverse festival experience for everyone. These are marked accordingly in the programme schedule.
