Animation meets classical music: The new New World Classic Animation Award will be presented for the first time at the 27th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) and is aimed at animation students and graduates at international institutions of higher education for film, art and the media and honours the best use / the best implementation of music in an animated short film.
Closing date for film submissions: March 1, 2020
Participation is possible for any animated film with a length of up to 35 minutes, including combinations of live-action and animated film, for which one or several of the tracks provided for download by music label Bechstein Classic has / have been used. The five pieces of music can be used as an integral part of an animated short film or for direct visualisation.
It is possible to combine the pieces of music with your own original composition. The tracks are provided at no charge by licensing bound to submission of the film for the 27th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
