Katharina Vogt has been working at Film- und Medienfestival gGmbH since 2015. As a project manager, she oversees fundraising and festival editorial work (print & online) while supporting the programme department. Until 2019, she also managed the ITFS Arab Animation Forum.

She studied Literature, Art, and Media at the University of Konstanz and the Università degli Studi di Milano. Active in the cultural and media sector since 2006, her initial roles included organising national and international youth media congresses and seminars as a board member of Junge Presse Bayern e.V., in collaboration with events such as the Medientage München. She later worked in festival organisation and guest management at Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg e.V. for the Baden-Württemberg Film Show and the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart, as well as in stage direction assistance at Schauspiel Stuttgart.
