Heike Mozer is a qualified administrative economist and began working at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 1991, where she assumed commercial management of the Animation Institute in 2002. From 1991 to 1998, she contributed to event management at the International Animation Festival Stuttgart, and between 2015 and 2020, she served as Project Manager for FMX – Film & Media Exchange.

She is experienced in organising large-scale events and is well-connected within the regional, national, and international animation industry.
