Award Ceremony: Crazy Horse Session – 48h Animation Jam

Five selected two-person teams develop an animated film live and within 48 hours. The competition begins Wednesday, April 25 at noon and ends Friday, April 27 at noon. The competition is open to students of animation at international film schools, freelance animators or animation producers not older than 30 years of age. All teams use the same given character (Trixi, the Festival’s mascot which is also on top of the award statue, the Trickstar), to tell a short story (30 seconds to 2 minutes) and in doing so demonstrate their own skills with regard to storytelling, graphic style and animation software. You can look over the artists’ shoulder while they work at Jugendhaus Mitte.
