A Film Estonia is an animation studio in Tallinn, Estonia, established in 1994. As a production house, they produce 2D digital and CGI animation for feature-length movies, TV, educational productions and commercials. A Film provides animation services, but also has its own productions – the Christmas special “The Overcoat” will be released in 2018. The feature film “RAGGIE” is currently in production and will release in 2020. During the last few years, Atom Art has premiered more than ten award winning short films that travelled festivals around the world. The studio works in a variety of animation genres – magical realism, animated documentary, musical, absurd, animated TV series for pre-schoolers and others – and with different techniques, however, it mainly uses cutout animation. The artist’s primary areas of interest lie in animation, tactile crafts and various experiments within these fields.
