Emile – European Animation Awards 2018

By recognizing and honouring the diverse talent in Europe, The European Animation Awards celebrate the entire European animation community and its contributions. Every year, the members of the EAA will celebrate their peers who have contributed to the blossoming of animation; this distinction comes in the form of an Emile Awards (named after both Emile Cohl and Emile Reynaud) distributed to professionals for their contribution to their trades. From storyboarding to scriptwriting, sound design to character animation, the EEA shine a light on all the minds, technicians and artists that deserve credit. There is only one prerequisite to becoming a member of the association, to share and celebrate together the best of what European animation has to offer: being a European professional in the animation trade. This programme presents the nominated and winning films of the European Animation Awards 2018 in the categories “Best Student Film“ and “Best Animated Short Film”.
