GameZone Talks: Games in Political Education

The combination of realistic scenarios and informal learning processes make games exciting learning media for political education. How to use such games and how to develop them in interdisciplinary teams will be discussed, taking the new digital, experiential and educational game EINLEBEN by Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung as an example. EINLEBEN is a web-based game for tenth grade lessons and up, and addresses the diversity aspect of social background. It demonstrates how decisions affect the course of a life, and how different starting conditions play an important role.
