Seven-year-old Laura finds it difficult to make new friends after having moved to another town. But then she finds a little star which has fallen from the sky. She lovingly mends the little star’s leg – the beginning of a phantastic friendship. Yet the friendship has to end: The star is about to die on earth, so out of love she has to let him go and return to the sky. Max from next door helps her through the difficult separation and overcoming her initial shyness, she even makes a new friend.
