Relentless Melt No. 11: Hong Kong International
3. May , 22:00 - 23:30
This programme presents a selection of moving image works made in Hong Kong or by Hong Kongese. Employing a range of animation techniques (in widest sense) from drawing and stop motion to machinima and machine learning, these works probe social pressures and relationships, and contemplate land and cityscapes, real and imaginary. The programme was curated by Hong Kong-based German animator and academic Max Hattler, who is also the chairman of Relentless Melt, a Hong Kong-based experimental moving image society which holds regular screenings in Hong Kong and internationally.
