Workshop Discussion: LUXX Studios

LUXX Studios bring visions to life! Since 2006 already, the team has been designing visual effects and animations for international feature productions such as ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ by Wes Anderson or ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ by Roland Emmerich. ‘Manou the Swift’ is the latest animated film which has been playing in movie theatres since the end of February 2019. This family film is the first 3D animation feature film to be completely developed and produced in Baden-Württemberg.Participants get to visit a real 3D animation film studio and meet the artists who create future visions, historic places or fantastic locations, depicting them in such a detailed and realistic way that the viewers dive into a world of magic. The LUXX Studio team, the producers and directors will present their works and answer questions: how can 3D artists evoke the depiction of human feelings a bird? How are the realistic settings of the Côte d’Azur designed?
