Wanted: Volunteers for Young ITFS (m/f/d)

The International Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS) is one of the leading festivals for animated film and will take place in Stuttgart from 5 to 10 May 2026.

With Young ITFS, we offer a diverse programme specifically for children and young people – including workshops, hands-on activities and educationally guided formats in the Open Air Activity Tents.

For the festival week, we are looking for dedicated volunteers who are keen to actively support Young ITFS and work with our young festival visitors.

Your role in detail:

• Supervising groups of children and young people in the Open Air Activity Tents
• Supporting and assisting with workshops, hands-on and creative activities
• Acting as a point of contact for children, young people, parents and group leaders
• Assisting with on-site organisational processes
• Supporting the Young ITFS team during festival operations

You bring:

• Enjoyment in working with children and young people
• A strong sense of responsibility, openness and good communication skills
• Team spirit, reliability and the ability to work independently
• An interest in film, animation, media or cultural education
• Previous experience in group supervision is an advantage, but not essential
