Best of Trickstar Nature 2026 beim Northern Exposure Festival

ITFS Animation Tour
Every spring, the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) enchants its audience – and afterwards goes on a grand tour: with the three programmes BEST OF ITFS, BEST OF TRICKS FOR KIDS and BEST OF TRICKSTAR NATURE 2026, we present our award-winning short films and the festival’s finest moments for adults, children and young people. Discover the creative diversity of contemporary international animation – and perhaps we’ll meet in person in Stuttgart next spring.

BEST OF ITFS TRICKSTAR NATURE 2026
With this programme, the ITFS turns its attention to one of the most pressing issues of our time: the fragile relationship between humans and nature. The selected short films are as powerful as they are multi-layered. They tell stories – sometimes poetically, sometimes relentlessly – of threatened habitats, shifting realities and the increasing urgency to question our actions.
