The time has finally come: the 33rd Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film kicks off its festival week on Tuesday evening. Filmmakers, jury members and animation fans from all over the world will gather for the grand ITFS opening and enjoy the first films in the ITFS International Competition on the big screen. Jane Mumford will host the evening.
Sometimes in life you must make decisions – and sometimes life makes them for you. In the films of this programme, seemingly small events ultimately determine the happiness or sorrow of the protagonists.
