Animated Film-Theater Performance about Adventure

“I in Wonderland” is a combination of theater, animated film, and installation. It transports the audience into a living picture book. Together with her company post theater, for “I in Wonderland” the new-media artist Hiroko Tanahashi examined classic illustrated stories such as “Alice in Wonderland” or “The Wizard of Oz” and then created her own. From these stories, she and a cartoon artist designed a multimedia amusement park.
In unusual spaces, the audience can experience strangely familiar fantasy figures such as Maulwurf Max (Max the Mole) around the world in 80 days, or the wild Matz hunting Mother Goose, Henry the dancing horse, Mr. Chips the fishhead, and many others.

Friday, 25 Apr. – from 3 pm to 5:30 pm every 30 minutes* - length about 50 minutes. Saturday, 26 Apr. – from 3 pm to 5:30 pm every 30 minutes* – length about 50 minutes.
* Performance begins at 3 pm, 3:30 pm, 4 pm, 4:30 pm, 5 pm, and 5:30 pm.

Adult version:
Friday, 25 Apr. – from 6 pm to 8:30 pm every 30 minutes** – length about 50 minutes.
Saturday, 26 Apr. – from 3 pm to 8:30 pm every 30 minutes** – length about 50 minutes.
** Performance begins at 6 pm, 6:30 pm, 7 pm, 7:30 pm, 8 pm, and 8:30 pm.
