Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduktion
The studies at the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction last 4.5 years (for transfers into the project studies only 2.5 years) and concludes with a Diplom from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
The focuses of the education at the Institute are idea-finding, conceptualization and design, the production of animated short films and visual effects sequences for feature, advertising, and documentary films, games, expomedia, and social media as well as looking at real-time animation. Classical animation, live animation, and puppet animation are available along with all conventional hardware and software systems up to the most state-of-the-art possibilities for creating stereoscopic 3D visualization. A multitude of awards at festivals and excellent career chances for our graduates speak to the merits of this concept.
