Sacrebleu Productions was created in 1999. In 2010, the studio was awarded with the Procirep Award for Best Short Producer, while the animated short film “Barkig Island” (Serge Avedikian) received the Palme d`or. The same year “Madagscar, travel diary” (Bastien Dubois), was short listed for the Oscars. Right after, Sacrebleu Productions produced its first feature documentary, “Free Radicals” by Pip Chodorov (released in theatres both in France & the US), and is currently finishing another feature film: “Long Way North”, pre-sold to Canal +, France TV & Cine +. In 2012, Sacrebleu produced an animated TV series (20×3´), “Faces from Places” by Bastien Dubois, broadcasted prime time on Arte. With this, Sacrebleu gained the prestigious Procirep Award for Best TV animated producer (2014). In regards to short films, the studio won several other prizes such as twice the Annecy Cristal and the Silver Bear at the Berlinale. Sacrebleu is now developing two feature animated film.
