Gerber meets ITFS – Happy Colours of Gerber

After the great debut last year, ITFS 2017 will again be a guest of Das Gerber – Stadtkaufhaus an der Paulinenbrücke. Gerber Upstairs will once more host an exciting programme for visitors, focusing on animation. Every day from 3 – 5 pm we invite children and families to experience small animated adventures in workshops, andto immerse themselves in the world of animation with animated films from the Tricks for Kids programme. Everyone is welcome to join in.Right on time for the end of the workday, the Gerber Trickfilm-Lounge opens with different “animated” activities every day, such as animated music videos with a live band, lectures on animation, games and visual effects, plus the best short films of the ITFS, etc. Free admission, no registration needed.On April 29th, Das Gerber hosts an exclusive warm-up event. Prof. Ulrich Wegenast, the Programme Director of ITFS, will give a short introduction to the development of animation, as well as first insights into to festival programme. For invited guests only.
