Studio presentation: Lupus Films

Lupus Films is a London based production company set up in 2002 by Camilla Deakin and Ruth Fielding. Lupus Films specialises in animation, using a wide range of techniques from hand-drawn to 2D digital and CGI, and also produce live-action and factual entertainment. Lupus Films’ productions have been shown in the UK on BBC, Channel 4, Five, ITV, S4C, Disney and Cartoon Network and in over 150 territories worldwide. In 2013 Lupus Films received a prestigious Vision Award from the BFI. The company’s first feature film which developed as a result, ‘Ethel and Ernest’, had its’ premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, followed by a UK-wide cinema release and transmission on BBC in October 2016. Lupus Films have recently completed a second season of successful pre-school show ‘The Hive’ (78 x 7″) for Disney Junior and an animated half-hour special based on best-selling children’s book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ for Channel 4. The film was Channel 4’s most viewed programme in 2016.
