Award ceremony 48H Animation Jam

Five selected two-person teams develop an animated film live and within 48 hours. The competition begins Wednesday, May 3 at noon and ends Friday, May 5 at noon. The competition is open to students of animation at international film schools, freelance animators or animation producers not older than 30 years of age. All teams use the same given character (Trixi, the Festival’s mascot, or the award statue, the Trickstar), to tell a short story (30 seconds to 2 minutes) and in doing so demonstrate their own skills with regard to storytelling, graphic style and animation software (Maya, 3D Studio Max, XSI Softimage, Adobe Creative Suite).
