This programme continues the presentation of contemporary Ukrainian animation which the ITFS started last year. The new programme features nine stylistically different films created over the past nine years. Along with the films by directors working in Ukraine, Mykyta Lyskov, Oleh Fedchenko, Manuk Depoian and Katya Chepik, there are also films by directors who are successfully working abroad such as Alla Churikova (Germany), Olga Makarchuk (Great Britain), Nata Metlukh (Estonia, USA, Canada).

The selected films dive into the difficult topics of modern life. The concepts of fear, empathy, love, and self-discovery are comically revealed, and everyday things are transformed into funny fantasies. It is so important to find yourself and the opportunity to be yourself in a modern universe.
