Africa is a vast and complicated continent rich in storytelling, artistic styles and an abundance of myth. The Cape Town International Animation Festival has existed for 11 years and is proud to contribute to the ITFS programme.
The themes of the programme run the gamut of human experience; relationships, fables, loss, comedy, illness, discrimination and unemployment. All underpinned by the simple message of hope. Hope that our future can be better than our past and that Africa will lead the change necessary to bring that future into existence.
Contributing countries include: South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria. We hope you enjoy a small slice of this beautiful continent!
N’kosi Sikelel’ iAfrika.
