Under the title ‘We animate social justice’, the ITFS and MACH DICH STARK – lInitiative gegen Kinderarmut im Südwesten (Initiative against Child Poverty in the Southwest) jointly present a selection of international animated short films that deal with topics such as inclusion, migration, community spirit and child poverty. MACH DICH STARK has also invited many people who are committed to social justice, including Manne Lucha, Baden-Württemberg’s Minister for Social Affairs, Health and Integration.
The programme is suitable for the whole family and shows everyday situations in which each of us can find ourselves. There is the frog among rabbits, the polar bear in the coniferous forest and the elephant in the high mountains. And there are plenty of children who have plenty of problems of their own. In the end, all the characters have in common that they are somehow different from everyone else. But if they are all somehow different, then in the end they are all quite similar again, right?
