GameZone: Animationsinstitut
The Animation Institute of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg presents selected computer games and prototypes developed by students of the Interactive Media degree program. In the open-format and experimental Interactive Media degree program, students learn from each other as well as from experts from the industry, who are consulted depending on the project requirements. This results in a wide range of projects, from games and VR applications to interactive room installations.
The exhibition includes current diploma projects such as “Dough with a Hole” and “Perle 3000” as well as projects from previous years such as “Fish of Zen” and “The Bear” (German Computer Game Award: Best Graphic Design), and many more from the students’ diverse portfolio. In addition, the successful start-ups of graduates such as Mucks! Games and Blossom Seeker will present their current developments and be present to talk in person.
