Young ITFS Educate

Young ITFS Educate offers formats for schools and daycare centres: pedagogically designed short and feature-length film programmes, workshops and teaching materials impart media skills, film knowledge and democratic values – in an age-appropriate way from kindergarten to upper secondary school.

Films for School Classes

Especially for teachers and school classes, ITFS offers animated films during the festival week that can be easily integrated into lessons, show the lives and challenges of young people worldwide, open up new perspectives and encourage respectful coexistence.

Professional moderation, live German dubbing of the films and corresponding teaching materials are included. If the filmmakers are guests at the festival, they will of course also come to the cinema and answer questions from their young audience.

Not enough cinema? Then there is the opportunity to attend a stop-motion workshop afterwards, where students learn how animated films work and create their own short stop-motion films under the guidance of media educators.
