Christina Schindler

Prof. Christina Schindler has been teaching at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF (formerly HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg) for over 30 years and was Dean of the Animation programme for 20 years. Over the course of her career she helped establish one of the largest and most renowned animation degree programmes in Germany, and has discovered, shaped and supported numerous talents. When she joined the programme as a visiting professor in 1993, she was already involved in award-winning animated films as a freelance director and producer with her own production company, which she founded after graduating from the Kassel University of Fine Arts. Christina Schindler is a regular member of selection committees and juries at film festivals such as the ITFS, the Goldener Spatz and the children’s section of the Berlinale.
