Robert Morgan
Robert Morgan studied animation at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, before graduating with his short film “The Man in the Lower-Left Hand Corner of the Photograph” in 1997. Since then, he has made a series of acclaimed short films and commissioned films, which use both stop-motion animation and live-action. His short film “The Separation” won the BAFTA CYMRU award for best short film in 2003, and “Bobby Yeah” (2011) was selected for The Sundance Film Festival and nominated for the BAFTA for Best Animated Short of 2012. His debut feature film “Stopmotion” was released theatrically in 2024 to critical acclaim, winning the Best Director Award at Fantastic Fest, and the Special Jury Award at Sitges
International Film Festival. It will be screened at the ITFS along with his short films “The Cat with Hands” and “The Separation”.
