The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is one of the most outstanding events for animated film worldwide. The Festival presents a full, up-to-date spectrum of animated filmmaking and its intersections with visual effects, architecture, art, design, music and games. The ITFS offers a platform to directors, production companies and distributors where they can showcase their films and transmedia projects to an interested, broad audience and numerous industry representatives. For six days and nights, the Stuttgart region will again become the global centre for animated film in the spring of 2018! More Infos

The Canadian multi-instrumentalist Chad VanGaalen performs in April 26 at the Manufaktur Schorndorf, and presents his animations, music videos and illustrations to the German public for the first time.
Music & Animation: Cineconcert “The adventures of prince Achmed”
Silent film classic meets electronic music: Sound artist Thomas Köner presents the animated feature film from 1926 live with compositions of electronic sound and elements of contemporary chamber music and pop-avantgarde on stage. April 28 in Ludwigsburg.
