FAQs – Questions and Answers regarding the Ticket Purchase

General

1. Do I have to register for XingEvents to buy a ticket?

No, a registration for XingEvents is not necessary. XingEvents is just the ticket shop provider.

2. Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

All tickets are personalised and not transferable.

ONLINE+ Festival Pass

1. What is included in ONLINE+?

The platform Online+ will be activated from 3.5. – 16.5.2021. The platform offers exclusive film programs and on demand offers (around 200 short films from the International Competition, Young Animation, Tricks for Kids, Trickstar Nature as well as AniMovie feature films and other supporting programmes), as well as selected live stream formats. Please note that the films in the ONLINE+ media library can only be accessed from Germany.

2. How do I log in to the ONLINE+ area?

The first login // Registration for ONLINE+ on OnlineFestival.ITFS.de

When you visit OnlineFestival.ITFS.de for the first time, you have to register in order to access the programmes of ONLINE+.

  1. Go to https://www.itfs.de/en/ and click on the button “LOGIN” to register.
  2. Now click on the button “REGISTRATION“
  3. Enter the e-mail address you used, when ordering your Festivalpass ONLINE+ or your branch accreditation ONLINE PRO and confirm your entry with “CHECK-IN”.
  4. The system will now check your e-mail address and automatically redirect you to the registration page. The process can take up to 20 seconds. After successful verification you can create a password and username and click on “SEND and CONFIRM”.
  5. Now you are successfully registered and directly logged in! Registration is only necessary and possible once.
  6. If you want to log in again, you can always use the LOGIN -Button on the ITFS-Website: https://www.itfs.de/en/.

3. Can I cancel my ONLINE+-ticket?

Cancellation of the ticket is generally excluded.

Information on the cancellation of ONSITE tickets
All Festival Passes ONSITE will be automatically cancelled by us and refunded in full to your debited account. We recommend that you purchase a new Festival Pass ONLINE+. The cancellation process will take approximately one to two weeks. Please do not cancel your ticket yourself as cancellation fees will apply.

Information on the conversion of HYBRID tickets
HYBRID tickets that have already been purchased will be automatically converted into ONLINE tickets as described in the General Terms and Conditions and will retain their validity. The difference will be refunded to the ticket buyers within the next two to three weeks.
The tickets will be rebooked as follows:

Festivalpass HYBRID –> Festivalpass ONLINE+.
Festivalpass HYBRID discounted –> Festivalpass ONLINE+
