Call for projects: Trickstar Business Award:

Trickstar Business is the animation industry’s business award, which will be presented for the fifth time in 2021 at the Trickstar Professional Awards Ceremony by the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).

From now on you can apply with a project or a company that has an innovative business concept, for example in the areas of sales, marketing, rights exploitation or financing. Applicants who submit a project to the 2021 Animation Production Days (APD) are invited to submit it also for participation in the Trickstar Business Competition.

The Trickstar Business Award is worth 7,500 € and is donated by the Verband Region Stuttgart. In 2020, the prize was split for the first time with half going to a project and half to a company:

The project: Good enough: Burnout Diary (Studio Pupil, Tünde Vollenbroek (producer), Dario van Vree (filmmaker), Netherlands)
The company: E.D. Films (Archita Ghosh, Canada)
