Since November 2025, Lena Demmer has been part of the Film- und Medienfestival gGmbH. Her studies in Applied Media and Communication Sciences marked the starting point of her career in communications – first as a freelancer and later through her own business ventures. Together with her co-founder, she established a brand in the pet supplies sector. At the same time, she took on responsibility for marketing and PR for the podcast Gründungsgeflüster. This was followed by three years as a start-up coach at the Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research Thuringia, where she was also in charge of public communications for the foundation’s accelerator programme as well as for the Investor Days Thuringia – one of Germany’s largest start-up events.
