Grenzen(los): animierte Filme zu Freiheit und Frieden
We have been living in Germany without war for 80 years, and for 75 years we have been living the idea of a united Europe that enables travelling without border controls, free trade and cultural exchange. With success: today, many young people see themselves as Europeans. And 35 years ago, the inner-German border disappeared. It is time to celebrate and honour these achievements. The programme of short animated films shows how different perspectives on the topic of borders can be. Questions are raised that are more important today than ever before. What do national borders mean to us? Do they lock us in or keep us out? And could a world without borders even be possible?
