MINIONS & MONSTERS tells the wild, zany and, of course, absolutely true story of the Minions and how they take Hollywood by storm, become film stars, lose everything, unleash monsters on the world and then heroically set about saving the planet from the very chaos they themselves have caused.

In the more than ten years since their first appearance, the Minions have become the ultimate cult animated characters of their generation. Known globally and loved by fans of all ages, Illumination’s franchises DESPICABLE ME and MINIONS have grossed more than US$ 5.6 billion at the box office worldwide.

MINIONS & MONSTERS is directed by Oscar®-nominated director Pierre Coffin, who previously directed the first three DESPICABLE ME films and the first MINIONS film. Coffin has also been the voice of the Minions since their film debut in 2010. The screenplay is by Brian Lynch (Minions, the PETS films) and Pierre Coffin. The film is produced by Chris Meledandri, the Oscar®-nominated founder and CEO of Illumination, and Bill Ryan (executive producer of The Super Mario Bros. Movie).
