European Animation Awards 2017
29. April , 20:00 - 21:30
Event Navigation
By recognizing and honouring the diverse talent in Europe, The European Animation Awards is proud to celebrate the entire European animation community and its contributions to the craft. Every year, the members of the EAA will celebrate their peers who have contributed to the blossoming of the fine craft of animation; this distinction comes in the form of an Emile Awards (named after both Emile Cohl and Emile Reynaud) distributed to various professionals for their contribution to their trades. From storyboarding to scriptwriting, sound design to character animation, the goal of the EEA is to shine a light on all the minds, technicians and artists that deserve credit. The second edition of the Emile Awards ceremony will take place in Lille, France on December 8th, 2018. There is only one prerequisite to becoming a member of the association and to share and celebrate together the best of what European animation has to offer: being a European professional in the animation trade. This programme presents the nominated and winning films of the European Animation Awards 2017 in the categories “Best Student Film“ and “Best Animated Short Film”. Georges Hieronymus
