Premiere: Capt’n Sharky (5 years and older)

– German-language version -He is the terror of the seven seas! That’s what he thinks, anyway. But the other seafarers don’t really take Capt’n Sharky serious and mockingly like to call him a half-pint. First in line of those who have zeroed in on the tubby pirate is Old Bill with his crew. One of the times that Sharky is on the run from his foes, two stowaways end up on his boat by chance: ten year old Michi and Bonnie, the admiral’s daughter. The little pirate is not amused about the unbidden guests – he already has a crew, after all: the dutiful sailor Ratte the rat, the cheeky monkey Fips, and Coco the parrot. After initial difficulties, the motley crew pulls together and sets out on an adventurous journey, in the course of which they teach Old Bill an important lesson: never underestimate the little ones!Axel Prahl is nominated for the German Voice Actor Award for his role as Old Bill. Sharky is unable to read or count properly. But those things aren’t important to “The terror of the seas!” and are offset by a huge ego. With Mikey,a normal young boy, and Bonnie, a trouble shooting girl, they will enjoy seafaring adventures of plunder, pillage and piracy as they thwart the plans of The Admiral and Old Bill the Pirate. Along the way they will explore friendship and learn what it means to be a capt’n.
