Walt Disney Archives – curated by Daniel Kothenschulte

Based on several years of research in the archives of Walt Disney Company, Daniel Kothenschulte’s book “The Walt Disney Film Archives. Animation 1921-1967” (630 pages) was published by Taschen. His objective was to introduce the most important short films, but also many unfinished projects with sketches or artwork, a large part of which is rare or unfamiliar. Join the author in leafing through the book, in search of a slightly different Walt Disney – a restless innovator who was no stranger to any of the styles in art history and shied away from no experiment. This is complemented by little known short film from all creative periods.
