ITFS Special MoMO on Air.

In the monthly radio show of the Mobile Media School Stuttgart East, this time everything revolves around the animation festival. Frida tests the new game of the Natural History Museum “Natureworld” for us, Mareike tells us how animated films are made, Alexander made his first podcast about Iron Man in the MoMO workshop and much more.
MoMO on Air broadcasts every 1st Thursday of the month from 3 to 4 p.m. on Free Radio for Stuttgart (www.freies-radio.de and 99.2 MHz)

NatureWorld @ Home

At the moment, unfortunately, no museum visit is possible. That is a great pity!

But: You can now bring the Natural History Museum Stuttgart to your home!

We have a few ideas for you:

Simply recreate the dioramas from Rosenstein Castle. All you need is an old shoebox and our graphics and pictures. We also have an example for you here. But in any case, let your own imagination run wild.

Example diorama

You can also print out our island “NatureWorld” and make a dice game out of it.

As game pieces you can take the animals or people that we have prepared for you, cut them out and glue them onto cardboard. Then glue the game fields as a path on the map with start and finish. On certain fields there are quiz questions that the players have to solve and may only continue when they have been answered. You can print out the questions as a pdf.

If you don’t like crafting, you are welcome to create your own stories and adventures that you experience on NatureWorld.

Write us a story about the pictures and characters, or make a stop-motion video with the characters. No matter what and how – be creative!

And very important: Send us your ideas, your games, your dioramas! Among the best stories and handicrafts we will raffle 5 family annual tickets for the Natural History Museum. The tickets will be valid from when the museum is allowed to reopen.

In addition, you can usually visit the city media centre every Friday afternoon to learn more about game design, coding, 3D printing and virtual reality or simply to play games together. Due to the current situation we are unfortunately closed at the moment, so we offer individual advice at computerspielschule-stuttgart.de instead. Furthermore, we are working on online offers, especially together with LFK on the platform www.games-im-unterricht.de.
