Exhibition: Lotte’s Legacy – Shadow Play from Babelsberg to Southeast Asia

A century after Lotte Reiniger’s “The Adventures of Prince Achmed” (1926), her legacy continues to inspire globally. Curated by Hannes Rall, this showcase features student works from Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and NTU Singapore. From modern CGI to Southeast Asian myths, these films explore how a new generation translates Reiniger’s delicate aesthetic into a contemporary, borderless language of shadows.
