Maschinenblick: Macht, Mythos und Manipulation der KI-Bilder

Adults German Animation

Today, artificial intelligence generates images that amaze us – and sometimes irritate us. But what do these new visual worlds say about us? Do their minor flaws reflect our collective dreams, fears and fantasies? Or are AI systems transforming the vast archive of our man-made images into a machine that produces new entertainment formats at an ever-increasing pace – images that are primarily intended for other machines? Or are these images becoming a tool for new forms of political and social manipulation? We explore which aesthetical, social and political consequences the new AI image generators could have.

In cooperation with Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.
