The HfG Gamelab is an interdisciplinary and supra-university association of students and scientists who view the medium of computer games primarily from an artistic and cultural perspective. In addition to the HfG students, KIT students can regularly be found in the events of the GameLab. Furthermore, the HfG GameLab presents the organization of the Global Game Jam in Karlsruhe and there are regular collaborations with the zkm_Gameplay next door.

The GameLab is located at the HfG in the field of digital media art under the direction of Prof. Michael Bielicky.
